Essex are delighted to announce that the NUL fixture at Castle Park, Colchester on 26th August against Lancashire Lightning will be another of the "Kids for a Quid" days where accompanied children can enter for just £1.
This has proved very successful at Chelmsford and at Southend and is part of Essex County Cricket Club's continuing attempt to encourage children and families to cricket.
In addition, tickets for the floodlit match on 28th August at Castle Park are selling extremely rapidly and those wishing to come to the floodlit spectacular are advised to purchase their tickets on 01245 254010.
The evening will include parachutists, bouncy castles, a super simulator and the Norwich Union Rollerball Challenge plus large Sky screen and all the razzmatazz of a live televised match. Tickets are £13 for adults and £7 for children, with reserved seating £5 extra.
