Under 15 Inter District Tournament 2000
BCCSL - 30 October 2000

The Tournament Committee of the National Development Center of the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka has made arrangements to organise the Inter-District Under 15 Cricket Tournament 2000.

All Provincial cricket Associations are advised to organise the Tournaments within their respective Provinces.

This Tournament will be completed by the 1st week of December, and 25 teams will participate.

The Under 15 Inter – Provincial Cricket Tournament will be conducted from the 10th – 22nd of December 2000.

The National Development Center of the BCCSL has allocated Rs. 900,000.00 (Nine Hundred thousand) towards the expenses of this Tournament.

The main objective of conducting this Tournament is to identify and develop skills of the talented cricketers upcoming in the Districts – especially in the outstations.

The Tournament conducted in 1999 was extremely successful and a combined team of Kalutara / Ratnapura won the championship.
