Moin's stress on fitness The Dawn - 13 September 1999
Islamabad, Sept 12: Pakistan team skipper Moin Khan has said that the requirements of nerve wrecking international cricket demands that the cricketers should keep themselves physically, mentally and technically fit in order to retain their place in the team. Talking to reporters line at the Redco ground at the end of second day's camp, the skipper hoped that the trio of Aamir Sohail, Waqar Younis and Mushtaq Ahmed would prove their mettle in the forthcoming events. He, however, said that coming in and going out of the team are part of player's career but one has to work extra hard to get back in the side. The wicket-keeper batsman stated that Pakistan has selected the best available side. There is, lack of experience in batting but the boys would only learn if they are given a chance, he said.
