One-day cricket goes to a new country Atul Kahate - 26 May 1999 Limited Overs International cricket goes to Holland today. This will be the 17th country to host LOI matches (for ease of record-keeping, England, Ireland and Scotland are considered as different countries). Cricket has gone to as far places as Canada. Now USA is the next place where LOI cricket can really make advances. The following table shows the number of matches held in each country to date, sorted alphabetically.
