Mark Boucher,when caught Wajahatullah Wasti,completed his 50
dismissals (48 ct,2 st) as 'keeper in his 36th match. He became
second South African after Dave Richardson (165 dismissals in
122 matches) and 18th 'keeper in ODIs to do so.
Inzamam-ul-Haq was run-out for the 30th time in his ODI career.
He is now heading towards achieving a dubious distinction. Haq is
only one dismissal away of equalling fellow Pakistani Wasim
Akram's record of most run-out dismissals in a career. The accompanying

Just for the record,WestIndian Joel Garner holds the record
of highest dismissal percentage among the batsmen who have
been out on 10 or more occasions in this fashion. Garner was
run out 10 times in his 26 completed innings (98 matches),
thus making a dismissal percentage of 38.46
The seventh wicket partnership of 56 runs between Moin Khan and
Azhar Mahmood is Pakistan's best for this wicket against
South Africa. This obliterates the previous record stand of
55 between Asif Mujtaba and Wasim Akram at Johannesburg on
12-01-1995.
Wasim Akram has now taken 130 wickets in 89 matches as captain.
He is now just short of countryman Imran Khan's tally of 131 wickets
as captain in 139 matches.
Saqlain Mushtaq became the quickest bowler (in terms of least
matches taken) to complete 200 wickets by dismissing Jacques
Kallis.Saqlain was playing his 104th match and he obliterated
South African Allan Donald's record,who got his 200th wicket
in his 117th match. Incidentally he became third Pakistani and
10th bowler in ODI history to capture 200 wickets.
Lance Klusener has now scored 210 runs at an amazing strike
rate of 111.70 in this tournament without being dismissed once !
His batting performance in World Cup so far is :12* (off 4 balls) v
India,52* (45) v SriLanka,48* (40) v England,52* (58) v Zimbabwe ....and 46*
(41) v Pakistan.In addition he has also taken 14 wickets in the tournament
(ave.12.30), which makes him the first ever allrounder to score 200
runs and capture 10 wickets in a single world cup.
The eighth wicket unbroken partnership of 45 runs between Lance
Klusener and Mark Boucher is South Africa's best for this wicket
against Pakistan in all matches.This obliterates the previous
record stand of 18 runs between Meryck Pringle and Fanie deVilliers
at Centurion on 21-02-1993.
Klusener became second player to win four MoM awards in
a single World cup after Sri Lankan Aravinda DeSilva (1996). He
has now won 13 awards in his 59 matches.Only Hansie Cronje (16)
has won more awards for South Africa than Klusener.
