Salesbury Cricket Club have joined forces with Lancashire to help promote Floodlit Cricket at Old Trafford.

The Ribblesdale League club are one of 160 schools, clubs and organisations who have registered with the Lancashire Lightning Cash Back scheme.

Under the programme, Salesbury will help to promote Lancashire's Floodlit matches at Old Trafford by selling advance discount tickets.

In return, Lancashire will donate 30 per cent of the matchday price to Salesbury for every ticket they sell which will help the club complete urgent drainage work.

Gareth Moores, Sales and Marketing Manager for Lancashire CC, said: ``This is a great opportunity for clubs and schools to raise funds for their organisation and at the same time experience the explosive action and razzmatazz of Floodlit Cricket at Old Trafford.

``It represents a fabulous night out for the entire family and it's an event not been missed.''
