Media Release - Western Warrior appointed new coach of Western Fury

Veteran WA off-spinner Bret Mulder has been appointed new coach of Western Fury, WA representatives in the Women

Mulder, aged 35, has played 24 first-class matches for Western Australia. He has taken 57 wickets @ 36.10 with a best return of 6-65 against NSW at the WACA in 1996-97. He made his first-class debut against Victoria in 1983-84.

Mulder has captained district club Bayswater-Morley and has been the WACA finger spin coach since 1991. In 1998-99, he was the winner of the WACA coaching award.

Mulder will continue to represent Bayswater-Morley in the SmokeFree WA League.
