David Robertson has joined Jim Swanton as Honorary Curator following the recent retirement of Chris Taylor after 19 years in the role.

David Robertson, 66, has been a Kent member since 1947 and watched his first Kent match as far back as July 1946 at Maidstone.

``I regard it as an enormous privilege to have been invited to serve as Honorary Curator and to be associated in this way with the great work that has been done by Chris Taylor and Jim Swanton. I could not compete with their knowledge of Kent cricket but hope that I may make some contribution in this area of the club's activities.''

David Robertson is retired, is a member of the Cricket Memorabilia Society, the Association of Cricket Statisticians, the Association of Kent Cricket Clubs and Sandwich C.C.
