In a two-day game at Singleton, the Canterbury side beat Central North on first innings.
Sent in to bat, the Kiwis made 238, with Stephen Gibson (51), Jeremy Innes (42), and Paul Rugg (42) making telling contributions.
Central North was 39 for one overnight, but lost three wickets for five runs to be 103 for five.
The home side was bowled out for 149, with Canterbury's Cleighton Cornelius taking four wickets for 24 from 12 overs and Todd Harris three for 36. The Canterbury Kiwis had a convincing win in a 50-over game at Dungog, home of Australian cricket legend Doug Walters.
The Kiwis were struggling at 43 for four, before captain James Barrett (53) and Marcel McKenzie (28) staged a revival.
Jeremy Innes made an unbeaten 49 and Paul Rugg scored 27 as the Kiwis amassed 198 in temperatures topping 40deg.
Dungog was dismissed cheaply , with Harley James taking two wickets for five runs, Wade Cornelius two for eight, Cleighton Cornelius two for 15 and Todd Harris two for 20.
