CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand, Jan 11 (AFP) - Bandgladesh's hopes of
becoming cricket's 10th Test-playing country depend on them setting up
a domestic first-class competition, International Cricket Council
chief executive David Richards said Monday.
``That's the main criteria,'' he said after announcing a three-man
fact-finding commission to visit Bangladesh in March.
Former Zimbabwe player Andy Pycroft, Australia's Bob Simpson and ICC
Development Officer for Asia, Nasim Ulghani, will inspect grounds and
facilities and report back on what work needs to be done, Richards
said.
The ICC will review Bangladesh's application for Test-playing status
at its annual conference in June.
