Nirmal to lead

Nirmal Hettiarachchi will captain the Royal College over 40 cricket team in their annual encounter against the S.Thomas' College over 40 team on March 1 at the CCC grounds, Maitland Place.

An aggressive knock of 147 with 15 massive sixes and 8 fours by Mohammed Rameez for Zahira College, Gampola stole the limelight in their Elephant Lemonade Cup inter school cricket match against Mayurapada Vidyalaya, Narammala which ended in a draw at Narmmala.

Rameez who as a 13 year old scored a double century in a junior cricket tournament match two years ago, tone into the opponents with vengance.
