Jamaica: Baugh slams double century The Jamaica Gleaner - 10 February 1999 Scores: Wolmers 327 for four after 41 overs; Campion College 104 from 45 overs. Former Jamaica Under-15 representative Carlton Baugh Jnr clobbered a massive 280 runs against Campion College as Wolmer's romped to a 220-run victory over their Matilda's Corner opponents at Heroes Circle last week. Sent in to bat Baugh, who in 1997 was voted best wicketkeeper in the Regional Carib Cement Under-15 competition, was ruthless against the Campion bowlers, going to lunch on Friday unbeaten on 255 before he eventually got out on a personal best 280 after facing just 149 deliveries which included 11 sixes and 41 fours. Baugh then returned to rout Campion's top order with his gentle leg-spinners claiming 6-24 from 16.2 overs. Baugh received good support from Andrei Miller 2-13 and Damion Reece 2-32. At Ardenne: Captain Ramon Hutchinson steered St. George's College to a convincing nine-wicket victory over Ardenne High. Scores: Ardenne 42 after 21.4 overs (Tarrick Coley 14; Ramon Hutchinson 4-2, Sheldon Smith 3-6, Shacurie Wilson 2-21); St. George's 46 for one after 5.4 overs (Richard Gordon 20 not out). At Bridgeport: Home team Bridgeport Comprehensive had to settle for a draw with Kingston Technical. Scores: Bridgeport 102 after 35 overs (Craig Dawkins 18, Camello Ricketts 15; Greg Thompson 4-36, Corey Locke 2-0, Kavier Campbell 2-21); KTHS 72 for eight after 47 overs (Locke 15; Kurt Irving 3-13).
