Wasim Raja meets Mujeeb The Dawn - 4 August 1999 KARACHI, Aug 3: Former Test batsman Wasim Raja called on the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) ad hoc committee chairman Mujeeb-ur-Rehman in Lahore on Tuesday, informed sources said. Raja visited that Gaddafi Stadium in the afternoon and held discussions with the chairman before meeting the national team members. Sources said during the discussions, his availability as coach was sought. ``He has agreed to take over as coach of the team,'' said the sources. However, the decision would not be announced until Bob Woolmer informs his decision to the ad hoc committee, sources added. Raja was one of the two former Test players whom Imran Khan had recommended to the ad hoc committee. The other is Mudassar Nazar who might be given the charge of the junior team, sources added. Mujeeb also meets cricketers LAHORE, Aug 3: Ten national cricketers met the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) ad hoc committee chairman Mujeeb-ur-Rahman at the Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday. The PCB chairman exchanged views with the cricketers on various matters. Those who met the PCB chairman are Wajahatullah Wasti, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Akhtar, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Ijaz Ahmad, Abdur Razzaq, Azhar Mahmood, Mushtaq Ahmad, Waqar Younis and Yousaf Youhana.
