Brief Synopsis of Junior Cricket news and highlights. CCA's U-18's pay return visit to Bermuda August 12-17. Andrew Bracht, Ian Khan, Damien Mills (co-winner with) Damien Persaud are all John Ross Robertson cricket scholarship CCA award winners for MOST PROMISING CANADIAN JUNIOR CRICKETER OF THE YEAR. Andrew Bracht is scheduled to play in Australia this winter. Damien Mills' scholarship will take him to New Zealand and to Australia. Damien Persaud has just finished a training session in Grenada, West Indies. Ian Khan (courtesy of ICC Development) spent last summer at the MCC. Kevin Sandher and Mike Baldwin (22) visited MCC in 1999 courtesy B.C. Kevin Sandher took the most wickets (26) in the 1998 Nortel (U-19) Event. Sandher, Surkari, Mills et al are also beneficiaries of Nortel 1998. The 1999 Nortel team has many players who can return for several years. These 1999 players never played 3 day cricket or on grass before! WE CAN DO BETTER ! Your help is vital to our game's success. RED STRIPE 1999. Canada received verbal notice today that they will be officially notified shortly of our (and Bermuda's) participation in the 1999 Red Stripe competition.
