The Daily Star, Bangladesh BCB goes long version

The first National Cricket League is likely to start from the second week of November. This was decided by the Bangladesh Cricket Board's Tournament Committee in a meeting last night.

According to a source close to the BCB, the meeting decided that the National League, which will be a three-day match tournament, will start from November 10 and finish by December 20.

Six divisional teams will take part in the league which will be held on home and away basis.

Chaired by BCB vice-president Ajmol Ahmed, two BCB joint-secretaries Dewan Shafiul Arefin and Mahmudul Haque Manu, six Divisional Cricket Development Officers, and secretaries of the Divisional Sports Associations were present at the meeting.
