Bajans for WICB camp The Barbados Nation - 28 August 1999 Six Barbadians, including four West Indies senior players, have been selected for a specialised cricket coaching course next month. Opener Adrian Griffith, wicket-keeper Courtney Browne, speedster Pedro Collins, and allrounder Hendy Bryan, will be joined by Ryan Hinds and Corey Glasgow as regional cricketers to benefit from the programme organised by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) at the Caribbean Cricket Centre in Antigua. Hinds, a budding allrounder of class, has already played for Barbados at the regional level and will lead the West Indies Under-19 team at the Youth World Cup in Sri Lanka next year. Glasgow, who keeps wicket for Cockspur Wanderers, is also a capable left-handed batsman and will have his first bit of senior exposure. Other players shortlisted from Trinidad Zaheer Ali, the Under-19 captain, Tobago-born batsman Lincoln Roberts, former Under-19 batsman Imran Jan, his twin brother Asif, pacer Marlon Black, wicket-keeper Navin Chan, and West Indies fast bowler Merv Dillon. The batting course will be conducted by Guyana's Rohan Kanhai, a former West Indies captain, star batsman and coach. The exercise will be conducted from September 16 to 24 at the same time as the bowling programme. The bowling sessions will be conducted by former Test fast bowler Andy Roberts, an Antiguan, while Jeffrey Dujon, former Jamaica and West Indies wicket-keeper, will co-ordinate the programme for the glovemen. Ali has been selected on the West Indies team for the World Youth Cup tournament in Sri Lanka next year. Both Imran Jan and Roberts are currently playing minor league cricket in England. Dillon has been named on the West Indies senior team for the upcoming short tours of Singapore and Bangladesh,
