Tissot Cup: Umpires changed Our Sports Reporter - 22 April 1999 LAHORE, April 21: Some of umpires have been changed for the semi-finals and final of the National One-day Cricket Tournament to be held at the Gaddafi Stadium under floodlights on April 22, 23 and 24 (Thursday, Friday and Saturday). Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) secretary Waqar Ahmad announced on Wednesday that the semi-final of the competition between Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) Blues and Customs to be held on Thursday will now be supervised by Test umpires Saleem Badar and Mian Muhammad Aslam. According to the earlier announcement, Mian Muhammad Siddique was to supervise the match along with Saleem Badar. TV replays umpire will be Rab Nawaz, scorer will be Azhar Husain and referee will be Ali Zia. The semi-finals and the final will begin at 2:30 pm. The first session will last till 6 pm. After a 45-minute interval, the second session of all the three matches will be held from 6:45 pm to 10:15 pm. The second semi-final between Allied Bank (ABL) and Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) will now be supervised by Riazuddin and Muhammad Siddique Khan. According to the previous announcement, Mian Muhammad Aslam was to supervise the match along with Riazuddin. TV replays umpire will be Iftikhar Malik, scorer will be Syed Najmus Saeed and referee will be former Test paceman Naseer Malik. The final of the tournament will be supervised by Mian Muhammad Aslam and Ferozuddin Butt. According to the earlier announcement, Test umpire Athar Zaidi was to share the responsibility with Ferozuddin Butt. Professor Ikram Rabbani will be the TV replays umpire while Abdul Hameed will be the scorer. The referee for the final will be former Test wicketkeeper Ashraf Ali.
