Khettarama Junior cricketers to tour Bangalore Peter Christie - 20 April 1999 The young cricketers of the Khettarama Cricket school leave Colombo today for Bangalore, India on a ten-day tour. The tour was organised by Commander H.U. Silva, Director of the Sugathadasa Sports Complex, on an invitation of the Bangalore YMCA. The youngsters have been coached by former Sri Lanka wicketkeeper Russel Hamer, Sharman de Silva and H.P.K. Subash. Two teams of boys under 13 and under 15, accompanied by Manager Preethi Sooriyarachchi, coach Susil Ananda and parents will play five one day matches during their stay in India. The Khettarara School founded in December 1995 has in four years produced exceptional results fielding two teams in the ``Daily News'' Trophy. Under 15: Amila Subasinghe, Charith Dissanayake, T.S.Jayasinghe, Dulip Prassana, Gihan Mahanama, Siyam Mohamed, Chatura Wickremasinghe, Satis Babu, Rukshan Adikari, Niroshan Perera, K.Kariyapperuma, Kasun Dahanayake, Buddikka Morawaka, Deraka Rukshan, K.D.Gamage, O.J.Rukshan, Chaminda Boteju, Gayan Niranjan,and Gihan Kulatunga. Under 13: Saika Fernando, Sachitra Serasinghe, Carlo Perera, Chalitha Perera, Kasun Sooriyarachchi, Ramesh Senadeera, T.S. Jayasena, L.Cooray, Tarindu Heshan, Sanjay Kanth, P.Mayooran, Dinesh Sumangala, Ahmed Rifa, Tharanga Jayamanne, Ruchira and Chatura Herath, J de Silva, Yasanga Perera, G. Menake Rajapakse and T. Anthony.
