Our Sports Reporter - 8 April 1999

The visiting Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Eleven will face Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) in their third group match of the President Cup one-day tournament at the National Stadium in Karachi, today.

The tourists lost to Karachi Cricket Association by 50 runs in their opening match on April 4, but then staged a brilliant come back in the second match with an exciting 7-run victory over strong Pakistan Customs.

Habibul Bashar will lead the second-string Bangladesh team.

The BCB Eleven will meet Quetta Cricket Association on April 10 before taking on Hyderabad in their final group match on April 12.

Twenty-four teams, split into four groups for the first round, are participating in the national tournament of Pakistan. Top two teams from each group will advance to the next round.
