Alma Hunt of Bermuda passes away
Tony Munro - 2 April 1999
Mr Alma Hunt, of Bermuda, revered throughout the cricketing world at both Test and Associate levels, has passed away.
Mr Hunt was a widely respected official who is generally credited with having first proposed the concept of a tournament for non-Test countries.
During his playing days, he narrowly missed selection for the West Indies team, a decision which many attribute to politics.
My apologies for the lack of more detailed information.
