27 November 1998
AUCKLAND, Nov 27 (AFP) - New Zealand and Pakistan will take on the
West Indies in a one-day Tri-Nations series when they tour the
Caribbean in 2000, a report said here Friday.
The West Indies will host the two countries in three-Test series
before playing in the one-day matches during April and May, the New
Zealand Press Association quoted West Indies board chief executive
Steve Camacho as saying.
New Zealand Cricket chief executive Chris Doig said: ``We have talked
about it before and it sounds great but West Indies have yet to tell
us officially.'' Dates have yet to be finalised.
New Zealand last toured the West Indies in 1996, playing two Tests and
five one-day internationals.
