Included in the list, which has seven newcomers, are six schoolboys. They are Ryan Hinds, already a senior member of the national team, lanky left-arm spinner Suelieman Benn, batting allrounder Pedro DePeiza, off-spinner Ryan Austin, batsman Kurt Wilkinson, and high-touted speedster Ryan Best, who is back from injury.
The other three new faces are Big B Spartan off-spinner Aaron Barker, Mount Gay Maple's Matthew Nicholls, who has been bowling well all season, and attacking left-hander Jason ``Jayasuriya'' Clarke of United Carlton, who hit a century earlier this year.
Omitted from last year is United Carlton captain Shirley Clarke, a cousin of Jason, who has been failing miserably with the bat this year.
Another noticeable omission is Joseph Williams, the Banks seamer, while Big B Spartan's 19-year-old opener Corey Yearwood, can feel unlucky after his classy century last weekend which has topped off a good season.
Among the list are two players who are presently playing in South Africa. These are Ottis Gibson, at Griqualand West and Vasbert Drakes, at Border Cricket Union. A third player, Mark Lavine, who withdrew down from the Barbados Red Stripe Bowl in October, has been overlooked.
