``A lot of cricket is on the cards at home. The Indian series is not the end of the world,'' stated Majid.
Majid Khan emphasised that Aamir Sohail can only make a comeback if he excels in the domestic circuit starting a day after the third and final one-day international against India - Oct 3.
Nevertheless, Majid left a door open for him as well as the selectors when he said there may be changes in the team for the series against India. ``It is not necessary that the same 14 going to Canada will play against India at home. The selectors can make changes.''
Majid stressed that Aamir Sohail's exclusion was not personal. ``He has been dropped purely on recent failures.''
When pressed further if he tried to improve his relations with the temperamental batsman, Majid Khan replied: ``I have nothing against him. He told me a few times that he wanted to talk to me but he never came.''
Majid clarified that Aamir Sohail was banned for two months for misbehaving with him. ``He was later given a suspended sentence of two years and fined Rs 50,000 for levelling unproven betting and match-fixing allegations against his team-mates.''
