Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly was understandably disappointed with the result. "To win, we need to take wickets which we did not do. We just did not look a side that is hungry enough in these two games. We need to work on our cricket,” he observed later. His counterpart, Carl Hooper, for his part, praised Gayle for his match-winning innings. "Gayle batted beautifully," the West Indies skipper observed.
