Aravinda batted well early on and then lost the strike. Jayawardene was less fluent and hit too many shots straight to the fielders.
New Zealand will certainly fancy their chances here - $65,000 the first prize must be quite a motivation.
As it turned out, Aravinda didn't get a 50! He ended on 47 even though he passed 50 at one point.
So he got the applause of the crowd for that landmark and didn't deserve it in the end - don't think anyone would want to take back their praise though, he batted beautifully and it's very sad for cricket fans that his career is nearly at an end.

chasing in this format of the game, the knowledge of your target dictating your approach to the game.
Just before the final, we've a question regarding the guest fielders. We have two guest wicketkeepers - Andy
Flower and Ridley Jacobs. The fielders are made up of players from St Lucia, St Vincent, St Kitts, Nevis,
Antigua and Anguilla.
There is also a very special guest fielder by the name of Devon Malcolm who is over here promoting the event.
The umpires are coming out now, this match will be over 12 overs. Fielding restrictions end after 6, otherwise
the rules are unchanged. Minus 10 if you get out!
Both sides have played very well throughout, and New Zealand, who are coming on to the field now, must be favourites.
