Sangakkara, who had hung around to make a subdued 26, soon joined De
Silva in the tent as Sri Lanka plunged to 71-4 in the 17th over. The
home team were suddenly in a dire situation as there were only two
specialist batsmen remaining - Mahela Jayawardene and Russel Arnold.
But showing a great deal of common sense, the two of them mounted a
slow recovery, gleaning 66 runs from the next 20 overs.
