3rd Match: India v Zimbabwe, 14 Sep 2002

The duo had put on 117 runs for the sixth wicket, with Dravid was looking set for a hundred and more, when an attempt to steal a non-existent single led to the Indian vice-captain being run-out for a refined 71 off 81 balls. Dravid was understandably livid at his own error in judgment; his dismissal meant that Kaif now only had the tail for company during the 12.3 overs that remained in the Indian innings. He needn't have worried. Displaying the sangfroid that made him the hero of India's magnificent win in the NatWest final at Lord's, Kaif proceeded to carve out his maiden ODI hundred while guiding India to a formidable total.

What was the turning point of the India-Zimbabwe match?

The Dravid-Kaif partnership
