The final league match of the Coca-Cola Cup ended up being a semi-final
with the winner of the India-New Zealand clash joining Sri Lanka in the
final. Stephen Fleming won the toss and immediately decided to bat on a
track that looked full of runs. The early dismissal of Mathew Sinclair (3)
did not prove to be much of a problem for the Kiwis as Nathan Astle and
Stephen Fleming settled down and put on a big partnership.
