9.1 TWO, THREE OR FOUR DAY MATCHES
9.1.1 Basis of awarding Points for two day, three day and four day matches
are as follows:
(a) For an outright win 12 points
(b) For obtaining a lead on the First
Innings in a Match Drawn 08 points
(c) When the Scores in the First Innings are equal & tied, in a
Match Drawn 04 points each team
(d) A Match that is Tied (Law 21.4)
ie( a completed match) 06 points to each team
9.1.2 Basis of Awarding Bonus Points in the Tournament shall be as follows:
(a) 0.1 points per each wicket taken
(b) 0.005 points per each run scored (ceiling 400 runs per innings for
a three day match and 300 runs per innings for a two day match. No ceiling
for a four day match)
9.2 One day Limited Over Matches
9.2.1 Basis of Awarding the Points in this Tournament shall be as follows:
(a) Win 04points
(b) Tie or No Result 02 point
(c) Loss 00points
9.2.1. Limited Over Bonus Point System (See chart)
(a) I Bonus point for any team that achieves victory with a run rate
1.25 times that of the opposition.
(b) A team's run rate will be calculated by reference to the number of
runs scored divided by the number of overs faced
(c) Where a side is all out, the number of overs to be used is the maximum
number of overs that side was otherwise eligible to face.
Where matches are shortened and targets revised through the Duckworth
/Lewis system, bonus run rates and bonus defensive targets are derived
as a function of the revised target score and maximum overs.
