Lancashire  beat  Yorkshire by 31 runs at Old Trafford after per-
sistent  rain  had  reduced  the   game   to  a  6pm  start,  and
10-over slog.

Lancashire  made  93  for six after losing the toss  with  Warren
Hegg smiting  31 not out off 13 balls  with  two  sixes  and  two
fours.

Yorkshire,  who  finished  on  62 for eight,  were  undermined by
seamer Richard Green, who took three wickets in four balls.
