Date-stamped : 02 Jun97 - 14:17 Glamorgan v Durham By Edward Bevan [INLINE] Scoreboard Glamorgan (184-4) beat Durham (183) by 6 wkts GLAMORGAN strolled to their third Sunday League win of the season at Ynysangharad Park with 9.1 overs to spare, producing the kind of efficient all-round performance which has charac- terised their start to the season. Apart from Nick Speak, who made 74 not out from 109 balls, none of the Durham batsmen was able to counter an accurate Glamorgan at- tack, who bowled straight and gave little way on a slow pitch. Set a target of 183, Glamorgan got off to a fine start through Robert Croft, who struck 46 from 33 balls, including a six and five fours. And although both openers departed in successive overs, Glam- organ were well placed at 82 for two in the 13th over. Two further wickets fell, but Tony Cottey and Steve James - batting at number six - steered Glamorgan towards victory with an unbro- ken partnership of 64. James, who was much the dominant partner, hit seven boundaries, much to the delight of a capacity crowd.
