KARACHI, Dec 4: Pakistan are raring to further humble the West Indies as according to Wasim Akram and Haroon Rasheed 'a white-wash would be a perfect icing on the cake to a first series win in 39 years.' ``After sealing the series at Rawalpindi, we would like to settle with nothing less than a clean sweep,'' coach Haroon Rasheed said on Wednesday. The conditions are ideal and opportunity is the best. The boys know it and we are raring to make it three in a row. You don't get a chance everyday to beat the West Indies 3-0, skipper Wasim Akram said. We have never lost a Test here (in Karachi) and this is a big psychological advantage besides the pressure under which the West Indies are,'' Akram said and added : I would consider myself very unlucky if we don't win the series 3-0. ``It has now an obsession for me to be the captain to lead a clean sweep of the West Indies in 69 years,'' the lethal allrounder said.

Haroon Rasheed emphasised that his team was clicking well . ``The top order batsmen are getting runs and the fielders have started to support the bowlers. And when these departments start functioning properly, it becomes easier to beat any side in the world.''

Haroon admitted that the element of luck was also in his team's favour. He said the catches of Inzamamul Haq dropped inPeshawar and Aamir Sohail in the Rawalpindi Test were a case in point. ``But we still need it (luck),'' he wished.

Haroon was glad that Brian Lara was out of form. He said the champion batsman would be under tremendous pressure in the Karachi Test as well and ``if we have to keep him from getting runs, we will have to get his wicket very early. ``Every struggling batsman gives a chance in the initial stages of his innings and I am hoping that when the opportunity will come our way, we would grab it with both hands.'' Haroon, however, said Lara was a great batsman and needed just one innings to get back into his strides. ``It is a matter of just two innings and I am sure we will be able to keep him away from getting a big score.'' Brian Lara, who made his debut here seven years ago, broke his run-drought in the World Cup also at the National Stadium with a match-winning century against South Africa to guide the West Indies into semifinals.

Haroon believed that Wasim Akram's re-appointment as captain has also made a big difference to the Pakistan team. Haroon said Akram was an inspiration to the team because he led from the front and with example. ``Either he chips in with useful runs or gets prized scalps. That lifts the overall morale of the team,'' he said. Haroon, nevertheless, emphasised that every individual was sensing his responsibilities ``and the end result is that we are 2-0 up with one game remaining.''
