Sri Dharmaloka MMV by seven wickets

Sri Dharmaloka MMV, Kelaniya, beat Gurukula MV, Kelaniya, by seven wickets in their 8th annual limited overs cricket match played on Saturday at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo.

Gurukula 155 all out in 42 overs (Indika Niroshan 38, S. Malraj 34, Jude Sampath 3 for 15, Ranga Asela 2 for 29).

Sri Dharmaloka 156 for 3 wickets in 36 overs (Kasun Cabraal 43, Nadeesha Pitiarachchie 52 not out).

Best Batsman: Nadeesha Pitiarachchie.

Best Bowler: Jude Meemanage.

Best Fielder: Nadeesha Pitiarchchie.

Man of the Match: Nadeesha Piiarachchie (all from Sri Dharmaloka).

Lion Siripathi Dissanayake, President and Zonal Chairman, Kelaniya was the chief guest and gave away the prizes and certificates.

Inaugural big match in Ratnapura

The inaugural Big Match between Kuruwita Madya Maha Vidyalaya and Kalawana Gamini Madya Maha Vidyalaya will be worked off on April 8 and 9 at the Seevali Stadium, Ratnapura.

This cricket match is sponsored by the Ratnapura District Cricket Association (RDCA) and the chief guests for this occasion will be BCCSL President Thilanga Sumathipala and secretary BCCSL Saliya Ahangama.

Easy for Ragama

A fine spell of fast bowling by Namal Sudarshana who finished with a match bag of 11 for 66 and 57 by Chinthana Jayawardane helped Ragama CC to crush United Southern SC, Galle by 9 wickets in their Div. II match which concluded at Wattala on Sunday.
