KARACHI, Sept 30: The offices of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) at the National Stadium were hijacked by the top officials of the law-enforcing agencies during the second one-day international between India and Pakistan.

When this correspondent visited the offices, it was witnessed that at least eight ladies and a dozen children were sitting in the two rooms of the three-room PCB office. When investigations were made, it was known that there was a family of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) and another family of SDM. The third family was of a PCB Councillor.

When the attention of Commissioner of Karachi, Mir Husain Ali, was drawn towards the issue, he expressed his surprise saying: ``My family isn't sitting out there. ``I have been told about this by you and I will try to investigate the issue,'' the Commissioner added.

A spokesman of the PCB, when approached for comments, said: ``They barged into our offices. We were hapless and couldn't do anything expect vacate our rooms. They forcibly became our guests and availed all facilities including meals, soft drinks etc.''
