Australian selectors have chosen their squad of fifteen players for
the Test leg of the tour of India in February and March 1998.
Matthew Elliott and Andy Bichel have been dropped from the team that
played in the Third Test against South Africa, while Glenn McGrath,
Jason Gillespie and Simon Cook are unavailable due to injury. Four
players in the squad (Lehmann, Dale, Wilson and Robertson) have yet
to appear in a Test match.
