In addition to him, several Sri Lankans who are employed in Botswana are representing the Sri Lanka side in this tournament. Some of the key players in the team are Janaka Beddavitana, Fazal Sheriff, Raju Hassen Al Arif and newcomers Bhagya Epasinghe and Anura Fernando.

Bhagya a former Thomian, NCC and University opener, played a dominant role in their recent victory over Pakistan in a preliminary Zone six match. He compiled an unbeaten knock of 48 and was associated in a century-stand with skipper Indika Perera who remained unbeaten on 68.
