  • Match rained out on the previous day and played on the Reserve Day.

  • Wellington's 66 is their lowest ever Shell Cup score beating their previous worst of 95 v Northern Districts at Tauranga in 1989-90.
  • It is also the 2nd lowest ever Shell Cup score by any side, with only Otago's 64 v Wellington at Alexandra in 1984-85 being worse.
  • Plus it is the lowest ever score achieved by any side at the Basin Reserve, beating Northern Districts 80 v Wellington in 1982-83 (and New Zealand's 74 v Australia in a One-Day International in 1981-82).
  • CJ Nevin (21) was dropped by SP Fleming with his score at 5.
  • GR Larsen came in with the score at 22 for 5 and remained not out at the end of the innings (44 runs later) for 3 off 44 balls in 69 minutes.
