England, who ends their tour of Zimbabwe on Friday, will make a two-month tour of New Zealand commencing from January 8. England will open the Kiwi tour with a one day game against the New Zea- land Cricket Academy XI in Pukekura Park, New Plymouth on January 10. New Zealand will play three Tests and five one day interna- tionals against England.
This will put the New Zealand team on fine shape before their second home series against the World Champions Sri Lanka who are due to play two Tests and three one day internationals commencing from February 27.
