    • Rain prevented play on the second day. Redgate also kept wicket when not bowling. Baigent was run out in the 2nd innings by Barker for backing up too far. ‘Woodward, thinking the ball had reached the boundary and considering it dead, left his ground, although it had not been in the hands of the wicketkeeper nor had the umpire called the runs.'
