A one-innings match is played, with the winner gaining 12 points. Position determined by points gained. If equal, then decided on most wins. Each team plays 22 matches, 6 of which were four-day, the rest 3-day. A county that is deemed to have prepared a pitch unsuitable for first-class cricket shall have 25 points deducted. Worcestershire v Gloucestershire at Worcester, abandoned without a ball being bowled.
