The match Surrey v Derbyshire at The Oval was abandoned after two days due to the death of King Edward VII.
The matches Surrey v Essex at The Oval, Lancashire v Kent at Old Trafford, Leicestershire v Yorkshire at Leicester, Warwickshire v Northamptonshire at Edgbaston, Sussex v Derbyshire at Eastbourne were limited to two days duration due to the funeral of the late King.
