Manager's Report: Hong Kong were on course to victory (90/5) in 29 overs needing 28 in 6 overs Hong Kong Captain Courtney Kruger was not out on 33 , when rain have the final say, really unlucky, match was reduce to 35 overs due to over night rain, Hong Kong bowlers bowled really well, fielding was outsanding as Hong Kong pick two great run outs and shakeel was unplay able as hong Kong reduced malaysia to 118/8 in 35 overs.

Shakeel got man of the match bolwed 7 overs given 7 runs and pick 3 wickets. - TD

Manager's Report: Another bad day for Hong Kong team. Won the toss and batted well against Thailand. Robert Bacon socred 63 batting really well in diffcult batting conditions. Hong Kong put up 166/9 in 45 overs, very good batting performance when conditions were not suitable for batting at all.

Thailand was strugling on 30/3 when heavens opened, no play was possible after heavy showers and the match abandoned due to rain. Nadeem Ahmed bolwed very well 3-5 in 5 overs including 3 maidens.

Unlucky again we could have won the match by a bouns point, nothing we can do about the weather here. We can only hope to have good weather against Singapore on Friday - TD

08.04.05 Hong Kong v. Singapore Indian Association

Managers' Report: Hong Kong won the toss and batted first scored 146 in 48.4 overs, lost 2 early wickets got two good partnerships of 30s in third and fourth wicket. Zain abbas scored 39 & Irfan socerd 37. All other batsmans chip in well for 10, 15 runs.

Hong Kong bowled and fielded really well, and very good opening spell froms shakeel bowled 10 overs for 8 runs. While Singapore batsman put up good fourth wicket partership of 70 runs, things was looking good for Singapore at 95/3. But Hong Kong team didn't wanted to lose here. Zain Abbas ( Man of the match also) took two wickets in his first over to bring Hong Kong back in the game. At the other end Robert Bacon (the fighter) bowled really well and took wickets regularly, he ended up taking 4/28 in 7.2 overs. Courtney Kruger took the last catch of the match, he captined the team well and fielded superbly.

All credit to the boys they played like team and hope fully they will bring this form to the finals against Malaysia tommrow.

09.04.05 FINAL: Hong Kong v. Malaysia Indian Association

Malaysia 181-9 from 50 overs (Suhan Kumar 94*; Shakeel 2-26, Zain Abbas 2-48, Robert Bacon 4-37) beat Hong Kong 88 from 33.2 overs (Robert Bacon 21; Eszrafiq Aziz 6-8, Darwin Muralitharan 2-32) by 93 runs

Manager's Report: Hong Kong lost badly to Malaysia in the finals. Poor performence in the field drop 9 catches, including 7 off Suhan Kumar (who scored 94*). Malaysia scored 181/9 on a bowling friendly track.

Chasing 181 on bowling friendly track was not less then climbing Mount Everest for HK. Boys have given up easily as Hong Kong lost to Malaysia by 93 runs. Robert Bacon top scored with 21 and he also took 4-37.
