SOUTH AFRICA WIN BY AN INNINGS AND 107 RUNS
South Africa wasted no time at the start of day four of the inaugural Test against Bangladesh, taking the final five wickets and sealing an innings and 107-run win.

David Terbrugge started the attack for South Africa and within five balls trapped Alok Kapali right in front. After shuffling across and staying inside the crease, Kapali found to his consternation that the ball beat the bat into the pad for a easy decision for the umpire. A disappointing start for Bangladesh, who had lost their sixth wicket on 211. Kapali who had offered stern resistance for ninety minutes left the crease after making 10.

More disappointment followed when Khaled Mashud, who played an excellent captain's innings, suffered the same fate, trapped inside the crease by Terbrugge bringing the ball back. His stay of 205 minutes for his 33 runs had come to an end and Bangladesh were now 212/7.

With the new ball being taken, the writing was on the wall. A couple of edges over and between the slips helped the Bangladesh cause but after Terbrugge bowled Mohammad Rafique, swinging across the line, for 19 all resistance was over.

Terbrugge, bowling very straight and getting some lateral movement and lift, had Tapash Baisya, driving on the up, caught in the covers for 10, thereby bagging his first five-wicket haul in Test matches.

Makhaya Ntini finished Bangladesh off when he had a swinging Manjural Islam caught at cover for eight as Bangladesh were all out for 252.
