have a few tricks, but after the early loss of both openers
Butcher and Hussain took complete control with Butcher always
maintaing a fast scoring rate that meant England never had to
worry about a new ball threat
Shane Warne also widely expected to be a factor was ineffectual
throughout and Brett Lee bowled fast occassionally but sprayed it
more often than not
Glenn McGrath looked surprisingly ineffective whilst Jason
Gillespie bowled well without luck
Although Australia did lose, it was mainly through their lack of
bowling effort having declared with still 6 wickets in hand
setting England a really sporting ask

Unsurprisingly after his brilliant 179 not out Mark Butcher has
