Zimbabwe 'A' innings: Innings,

NEL TAKES FIVE AS ZIMBABWE 'A' COLLAPSE

Andre Nel grabbed five for 11 as Zimbabwe A collapsed to 128 all out off 42.3 overs in their one-day match against South Africa in Bulawayo on Friday.

The home side never recovered from losing the top half of their batting for 26 inside the 12th over and although Paul Strang made an unbeaten 45 down the order to take the total into three figures, South Africa were set a particularly modest victory target.

Douglas Marillier was the first to go when he was run out off the third ball of the innings when he attempted a suicidal run. Gavin Rennie decided to stay in his crease and Marillier was run out by Jonty Rhodes.

Nel struck in the fourth over, when Stuart Carlisle was caught at slip by Lance Klusener for 5. Gavin Rennie also became a victim of the Nel-Klusener combination, also edging for 5.

Schoolboy Hamilton Masakadza pulled Nel to Justin Ontong for yet another 5 before Nel clean bowled Craig Wishart for 6.

Mluleki Nkala was the sixth Zimbabwe batsmen to go when he was caught behind by Mark Boucher off Makhaya Ntini.

Young Tatenda Taibu defied the South Africans for 21 before he became Nel's fifth victim, also caught at slip by Klusener.

Strang then restored some pride, hitting six fours in a 68-ball innings
