Sussex cruised into the last 16 after some explosive batting from their top order eased them to a six-wicket win over Cumberland at Netherfield.
The minor county's attack was taken apart by Sussex captain Chris Adams and Tasmanian left-hander Michael Di Venuto as they chased Cumberland's total of 214.
Adams went to fifty off 21 balls, hitting five sixes and four fours, and Di Venuto also delighted the 2,000 crowd, stroking 10 boundaries and three sixes as he made 72 off 63 deliveries.
