Durham v Somerset, National League Second Division, Round 6 The Electronic Telegraph - 6 June 1999 Durham's misfortunes reached new heights when Martin Speight's dismissal off the last ball before rain at the Riverside cost them the chance of a first win of the season. Replying to Somerset's 231 for nine, Durham were left on 156 for five after 34 overs. They returned needing 45 off five overs and finished on 195 for six, six runs short. Somerset recorded their fourth straight win, with Peter Bowler scoring 56.
