Durham v Middlesex, National League 2nd Division, 1999 Electronic Telegraph - 3 May 1999 On his return to Durham, Mike Roseberry hit 77 not out to steer Middlesex to an eight-wicket win at Chester-le-Street. Roseberry had two bad years as Durham captain followed by two more undistinguished seasons before returning to Middlesex. His second half-century in the competition was compiled at leisure after Durham, who chose to bat, posted an inadequate total of 189 for nine. He matched his partner Paul Weekes in an opening stand of 78 in 17 overs, but then played second fiddle as Justin Langer made 30 and Mark Ramprakash 39 not out at a run a ball.
