Middlesex v Glamorgan, National League Second Division, 1999 (Round 2) The Electronic Telegraph - 25 April 1999 Several Glamorgan players have chosen their National League squad numbers on the basis of their preferred rugby union positions and yesterday they emulated their fellow countrymen by conquering the English in their own backyard. After their top order had struggled to time the ball on a two-paced pitch, Adrian Dale and would-be fly-half Robert Croft, donning the N0 10 jersey, resuscitated the Glamorgan innings with a fifth-wicket stand of 80 in 18 overs. A rare failure by Justin Langer, who was beaten for pace, and some tight Glamorgan bowling left Middlesex well short of their target.
