Faridabad, Jan 13: Riding on all rounder Madan Lal's superb century and his 134 runs opening stand with Salil Ankola (97), Indian Seniors beat South Africa Seniors by 63 runs in the third match of FedEx Cup'99 here today.
India batting first rattled up a mammoth 324 for four in their allotted 40 overs helped by fine contributions from Madan Lal (103), Salil Ankola and CS Pandit(64).
The visitors faced with a daunting asking rate of 8.1 runs per over were all out for 261 in 37.2 overs with Suru Nayak, who took three wickets, and Chetan Sharma and Salil Ankola, claiming two victims apiece, doing most of the damage.
India leads the series 2-1. The final would be played in Bangalore on January 15.
